It's another cover reveal on the blog today! Last week, you all got to see the shiny new cover for the first two books in Jennifer Armentrout's Lux Series, well today is going to be a double-whammy on the cover reveal list. Why? Because Entangled gave the cover you saw last week a teeny-tiny facelift, and WOAH. Talk about making the cover POP even more!

Here's the cover to THE LUX SERIES: BEGINNINGS…

The Lux Series: Beginnings
Special Edition includes both Obsidian and Onyx (Books 1 & 2)
Author: Jennifer L. Armentrout
Release Date: June 3rd, 2014

Blurb:
Obsidian

There's an alien next door. And with his looming height and eerie green eyes, he's hot...until he opens his mouth. He's infuriating. Arrogant. Stab-worthy. But when a stranger attacks me and Daemon literally freezes time with a wave of his hand, he lights me up with a big fat bulls-eye. Turns out he has a galaxy of enemies wanting to steal his abilities and the only way I’m getting out of this alive is by sticking close to him until my alien mojo fades. If I don’t kill him first, that is.

Onyx

Daemon’s determined to prove what he feels for me is more than a product of our bizarro alien connection. So I’ve sworn him off, even though he’s running more hot than cold these days. But we’ve got bigger problems. I’ve seen someone who shouldn’t be alive. And I have to tell Daemon, even though I know he’s never going to stop searching until he gets the truth. What happened to his brother? Who betrayed him? And what does the DOD want from them—from me?

And here is the NEW cover reveal for THE LUX SERIES: CONSEQUENCES!

The Lux Series: Consequences
Special Edition includes both Obsidian and Onyx (Books 3 & 4)
Author: Jennifer L. Armentrout
Release Date: June 3rd, 2014
GoodReads - Amazon - Barnes & Noble

Blurb:
Opal
After everything, I’m no longer the same Katy. I’m different... And I’m not sure what that will mean in the end. When each step we take in discovering the truth puts us in the path of the secret organization responsible for torturing and testing alien hybrids, the more I realize there is no end to what I’m capable. The death of someone close still lingers, help comes from the most unlikely source, and friends will become the deadliest of enemies, but we won’t turn back. Even if the outcome will shatter our worlds forever.
Origin
Daemon will do anything to get Katy back. After the successful but disastrous raid on Mount Weather, he’s facing the impossible. Katy is gone. Taken. Everything becomes about finding her. But the most dangerous foe has been there all along, and when the truths are exposed and the lies come crumbling down, which side will Daemon and Katy be standing on? And will they even be together?

So who is excited for this?! I mean, I liked the new covers to begin with, but with the new font on these bad boys, it just… really makes it, know what I mean? Kind of like adding whipped cream to a slice of pie; it just makes it so much BETTER!

Not to mention, I believe I see a Pepe in the second cover for you true-blue fans like myself… can you spot him? Is it him?

About the Author:

# 1 NEW YORK TIMES and USA TODAY Bestselling author Jennifer Armentrout lives in Martinsburg, West Virginia. All the rumors you’ve heard about her state aren’t true. When she’s not hard at work writing. she spends her time reading, working out, watching really bad zombie movies, pretending to write, and hanging out with her husband and her Jack Russell, Loki.

Her dreams of becoming an author started in algebra class, where she spent most of her time writing short stories….which explains her dismal grades in math. Jennifer writes young adult paranormal, science fiction, fantasy, and contemporary romance. She is published with Spencer Hill Press, Entangled Teen and Brazen, Disney/Hyperion and Harlequin Teen.

She also writes adult and New Adult romance under the name J. Lynn. She is published by Entangled Brazen and HarperCollins.

In honor of the cover reveal, Jennifer is also giving away two fan-art inspired pieces of the Lux Series! How cool is that?! Massive props to the makers of the fan-art!

I've got some awesome hold-onto-your-hats news that's worthy of a little happy dance!

Finally, I can share some dates for releases this year. Some have moved forward (yay!) and some have been pushed a little back (boo!), but here's a nice list of dates we can all mark on our calendars for 2013.

Ethereal: An Illumine Series Novella- February 28th, 2013

The Illumine Series: Volume One is pushed back. Currently deciding if I want to publish it or wait for the final book to be released and combine all of them into one massive reduced paperback.

Untitled (The Illumine Series, #4)- Spring 2014
*This one is a constantly shifting, very tentative date. Until I finish the first draft in full and have some editors and betas look it over, I won't be able to stick a solid date on this one. The earliest it COULD release is winter 2013, the latest will be summer 2014.*
COVER & TITLE TBA

A Shard of Ice (The Black Symphony Saga, #1)- April 14th, 2014

An Ice Princess Heart: A Shard of Ice Novella, #1- October 28th, 2013

An Ice Princess Kiss: A Shard of Ice Novella, #2- December 9th, 2013

An Ice Princess Symphony: A Shard of Ice Novella, #3- January 21st, 2014

An Ice Princess Dream: A Shard of Ice Novella, #4- March 25th, 2014

Unwanted: Stand-Alone Adult Dystopian- July 30th, 2013
(This is the only one that hasn't had a change in its date, hah.)

And that's it for now, but we all know I love working on a million projects at the same time. Trust me, you think this year is nuts? Wait until you see what's in store over the next two. If I don't go insane, it's because I met an awesome doctor with some seriously good anti-anxiety meds. Or I moved to Disney. Either way, the next few years are going to be one heck of a roller coaster.

Phew! Okay, looks like I'm going to be late on this one. >.<

One of my favorite indie authors, and fellow mentor-guide-person-of-awesomeness, Willow Cross, is having a cover reveal today. Yay! It's a beautiful new set of covers to her Oceans of Red series, and the best part is, with these new covers comes some equally cool news. But first, cover love time!

Definitely a wicked, dark, and eye-catching pair of covers!

Okay, so you want the awesome news coming with these sweet covers? Willow Cross' Oceans of Red series is being made into a WEB SERIES! They're doing casting calls soon, how's that for a HOLY FREAKING CRAP moment?! Congrats, Willow, I hope it's huge!
