EDITED: One thing I enjoy about indie authors over traditional authors is the fact that the books are less predictable. I really hate when I can guess romances and endings within the first chapter or two. Unfortunately, I prefer paper books over ebooks, so many indie authors I haven't tried out.
ReplyDeleteI like indie authors due to their originality. I don't read ebooks since I don't have an ereader. I wish more indie authors have paperbacks
ReplyDeleteThe connection I get with them. That they usually take their time to read my reviews, talk to me, chat. That they treat their readers RIGHT (usually ;p)
ReplyDeleteSupporting people in fulfilling their dreams is always a good thing!
ReplyDeleteI like the interaction that indie authors have with their readers. I don't really have any way to explain it other than I feel like there's more of a connection then with traditional authors.
ReplyDeleteThe one thing that i like about indie authors is the originality that they give to the readers. I like how they introduce new things to the book market and something fresh and new than the same old thing over and over again.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway! I like indie authors because they usually have a really fresh voice and write about new topics to their genres. (Oh - I tried to sign up for the newsletter multiple times, but it kept giving me an error message.)
ReplyDeleteI like indie author because I like to read something new and the originality of their book is refreshing. I also like when the author take their time to read the review or talk to the reader about the book.
ReplyDeleteWhat I like best about indie authors is that they are more original, and I'm always surprised reading indie books.
ReplyDeleteThey usually offer something that is new and refreshing to read.
ReplyDeleteI love reading Indie, they offer some surprising reads and I love supporting the authors :)
ReplyDeleteI love that Indie authors are so original. Thanks for the giveaway :)
ReplyDeleteProbably finding the rare gem of a book that is really good. Most Indie books are just good but the really good ones are a treat. Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI like that an Indie book is exactly how the author pictured it. Bits don't get cut or changed just because it might sell better. Thanks :)
ReplyDeleteAccessibility. That's why. :)
ReplyDeleteThey are original and their book is just how they want it to be. :D
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
I just love Indie authors! I would never have been introduced to indie authors unless I started blogging and have met loads of amazing bloggers. They are so easy to talk to and you can talk to them about there books without feeling your intruding and also not having to go though various pubcists etc is good!
ReplyDeleteWoot Woot, let the fun begin.. thx Alivia for this giveaway.. *keepin' my wingz crossed*
ReplyDeleteOOOO I like all my authors.. <3
ReplyDeleteI like them because they are all different and original, love them!
ReplyDeleteBeing one myself, I like to support others!

What I like about Indie authors is that, when an indiebook is well known it is a sign that the author has worked hard to make his or her book(s) popular, promote them and catch the publics attention where as the big, well known pubishers practically just have to publish a book to make it well known. And then we have the fact that Indie books often are cheaper than the publishers books. I can't really tell what I like about READING indie since I so far have only read one indie book. That can definitely be improved :)
ReplyDeleteI personally love the discovery of reading indie. I can find a great book, great storyline, great author and continue to support and follow them throughout their career.
ReplyDeleteFinding amazing new writers and adding to my collection.
